Ongoing Research and Research Experience

-HypoDeg:  occurrence of symptomatic nocturnal hypoglycaemia during treatment with insulin degludec or insulin glargine in patients with type 1 diabetes and high risk of nocturnal severe hypoglycaemia. An investigator-initiated, controlled, multicentre, two-year, cross-over study in PROBE (prospective, randomized, open, blinded endpoint) design. Protocol author and investigator. Screening the first patients for possible randomization in the beginning of January 2015 (2013- )

-HypoAna: occurrence of symptomatic and asymptomatic hypoglycaemia during treatment with insulin analogues or human insulin in patients with type 1 diabetes and recurrent severe hypoglycaemia. An investigator-initiated, controlled, multicentre, cross-over study in PROBE design. Working on results and publications (2013- )

-Co-investigator, Novo Nordisk project NN9924-3790, site NOH Hillerød (2013- )

-Research project at Bonkolab, Department of Pediatrics, Rigshospitalet by prof., dr. med. Kjeld Schmiegelow: Myelotoxicity, high dose Methotrexate and 6-mercaptopurine pharmacogenetics during maintenance treatment in children with ALL (2008-2009, OSVAL II)
