Predictive value of individual biomarkers and a multi-biomarker disease activity score for clinical remission, radiographic progression and disease flare in patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA).
Biomarkers; disease activity; rheumatoid arhrtitis; radiographic progression; biological therapy; remission; dose-reduction.
Identification of new biomarkers with a clinical utility to predict disease activity, radiographic progression and flare is a topic of interest in RA, and there is a need for effective biomarkers to predict clinical disease activity and patients at risk of radiographic progression. Such individual biomarkers or a panel of biomarkers may potentially enable a more tailored treat-to-target strategies of patients with RA.
