Study 1.

Title: Patient-controlled Hospital Admission for Patients with Severe Mental Disorders: A Nationwide Prospective Multicentre Study 

Patient-controlled admission is  a new ad on treatment in mental healthcare services that follows the concept of patient-centre care, recovery and empowerment. The aim of this prospective cohort study is to investigated the effectiveness of patient-controlled admission. Coercion is chosen as primary outcome. Secondary outcomes are the use of healthcare services and clinical outcomes such as medication use, self-harm, GAF and satisfaction with treatment.

Study 2.

Title: Predictors of Coercive Measures among Psychiatric Inpatients:  A Nationwide Register-Based Cohort Study

The objective of this nationwide register-based cohort study is to longitudinally investigate a broad selection of risk factors among psychiatric inpatients in Denmark that can lead to coercive measures.
