Abstract
Treatment of Graves' disease (GD) with the B-lymphocyte depleting agent rituximab in addition to standard methimazole-therapy prolongs remission. Paradoxically, it does not mediate a reduction in thyrotropin receptor antibody (TRAb) levels over that of methimazole monotherapy.
