We would like to commend Bernhoff and colleagues (1) for publishing further evidence supporting complete mesocolic excision (CME) as a safe approach in colon cancer surgery. They report no increased risk of 30-day mortality or reoperation after right-sided CME in a nested case-control study. This article is protected by copyright. All rights reserved.
