Abstract
The aim of this study was to screen KCNN3 encoding the small-conductance calcium-activated K+ channel (SK3) in lone atrial fibrillation patients. Atrial fibrillation (AF) is the most common cardiac arrhythmia. A genome-wide association study has recently associated an intronic single-nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) in KCNN3 with lone AF.
