Myten om kvinders menstruationssynkronisering. Juleartikel

Translated title of the contribution: The myth of women's menstrual synchronisation. Christmas article.

Abstract

To solve the enigma of menstrual synchronisation, the relevant literature has been reviewed in this paper. A methodological discussion of studies in favour of the synchronisation hypothesis severely undermines the credibility of this hypothesis, and recent studies have been unable to observe the phenomenon in humans and primates. It is therefore concluded, that there is no substantial evidence of the hypothesis. However, many women still believe in it - maybe as a result of their positive experiences with the phenomenon.
