The purpose of this fact sheet is to provide an overview of selected aspects regarding moped use and vmoped users in Denmark with regard to the period from 2013 to 2018.It is commonly thought that mopeds are a means of transport used primarily by young people. However, based on the current analysis it appears that the usage of mopeds also applies to middleaged men who are more likely, not to hold a driver license. Additionally, the usage of mopeds is not just an urban phenomenon but also regards the countryside.
