Continuous focus on preventive strategies and follow-up is important for a change

Abstract

We thank Mr. Rasmussen for his interest1 in our paper2 . As pointed out in the article, we recognize that formal OASIS-preventive programs will also increase the focus on reduction of the incidence of obstetric anal sphincter injuries (OASIS). Furthermore, the publication of the Norwegian quality improvement projects has been the inspiration of OASIS-preventive practice in many other countries.
