N2 - COVID-19 is the infectious disease caused by SARS-CoV-2. This is a review of the current treatment strategies available for patients with COVID-19 during hospital admission. Patients requiring hospitalisation frequently suffer from respiratory failure and may require oxygen therapy. Insufficient response to oxygen may be an indication, that other modalities such as high-flow nasal cannula, continuous positive airway pressure or mechanical ventilation are needed. The only medical treatments currently being used are remdesivir and dexamethasone.
