Abstract
Tuberculosis is a major cause of morbidity and mortality in developing countries.
Abdominal tuberculosis remains diagnostically challenging due to its nonspecific nature mimicking many other common conditions, which may delay appropriate therapy, but in turn may result in performing laparoscopy, which can be a useful diagnostic tool in diagnosing tuberculosis and initiating treatment at a early stage.
