Main research areas
My main interest is brain architecture of risk for neuropsychiatric disorders. I have developed an independent line of research in experimental neuropsychoendocrinology, serotonergic brain biology, and molecular and functional human brain imaging.

Brain and behavioral signatures of steroid hormone dynamics in the context of mood disorders. Predictors of treatment outcome in Major Depressive Disorder. Serotonin brain signalling and oxytocin in the encoding of social reward. Cortisol dynamics and social bonding (child-parent attachment).
