I work as a PhD-student on a larger randomised controlled trial investigating treatment effects and neural and neurocognitive mediators of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Psychoeducation and Relaxation Therapy (PRT) for adolescent OCD. My responsibilities include the structural and functional magnetic resonance imaging of both patients and healthy controls before and after treatment as well as clinical assessment and eligibility screening. We use a stop-signal task in the scanner to examine response-inhibition-related processes that are implicated in OCD symptomatology and which may be altered by successful treatment.
