Tue Helms Andersen works at the Knowledge Center for Diabetes in the Department of Education at Steno Diabetes Center Copenhagen (SDCC). As a Knowledge Broker and Special Advisor, he is skilled in searching, organizing and summarizing the best available evidence.
He holds a Master of Science in Public Health with further education in project management and how to conduct and assess systematic reviews. Earlier he led research and development projects as a Senior Project Manager and Research Consultant at the Danish Diabetes Association.
His main projects as well as his research, has mostly been focused on diabetes management, education for both people with diabetes, their families and health care professionals, and how to involve relatives and hardly reached people with diabetes.
