Klinisk uddannelse

Ansættelse ved reumatologisk afdeling, infektionsmedicinsk afdeling, Kirurgisk gastroenterologisk afdeling, almen medicinsk afdeling, lungemedicinsk afdeling, nefrologisk afdeling, onkologisk afdeling samt supplerende mikrobiologisk ansættelse.

Forskningsansættelse ved Hospital Hospital og National Institutes of Health, USA.

Videnskabelige aktiviteter

Har publiceret mere end 120 originalartikler, oversigter og lærebogskapitler. H-faktor 30.

Main research areas

Research areas include HIV/AIDS, viral hepatitis, pneumonia, sepsis and meningitis.

Current research

Current research projects focus on susceptibility to infections (viral hepatitis and invasive bacterial disease) through genetic and epidemiological studies. Other focus is on randomized controlled trials of antimicrobial therapy for sepsis and pneumonia.
