Gynecological and reproductive endocrinology

Main research areas

Our Reproductive Medicine offers a comprehensive range of investigations and treatments for individual and couples presenting with fertility problems and reproductive endocrinology e.g PCOS and hypothalamic disorders, heavy periods, endometriosis and fibroids. We offer a full range of fertility treatments including ovulation induction, intrauterine insemination, controlled ovarian stimulation and in-vitro fertilization (IVF). The team is able to provide a comprehensive range of adjunctive treatments related to IVF including extraction of testicular sperm, intracystoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), blastocyst culture, oocyte and embryo cryopreservation. The evaluation of the developmental competence of the embryos is presently based on morphokinetic parameters (time-lapse) supplied also with trophectoderm biopsies when appropriate.

to optimize outcomes in fresh embryo transfer cycles

(b) Mapping the endocrine determinants of ovarian stimulation to optimize the outcome of embryo transfer in fresh IVF/ICSI cycles
