Personal profile
Expertises
During the first 4 years of research, my primary emphasis was on identifying lifestyle factors related to development or prevention of obesity in genetic subgroups of the population. This research was conducted during employments in the Gene-diet Interactions in Obesity (GENDINOB) project, where I was first working as a PhD student and later as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow and scientific coordinator. Since marts 2015, I have been employed as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow and Trial Manager in a large EU-funded intervention study, NoHoW (Navigating to a Healthy Weight), examining ICT based tools for weight loss maintenance.
"Main research areas
My principal research interests lie in the field of research methodology, including general, clinical, nutritional, and genetic epidemiology. To date, my research has largely been focused on different aspects body weight regulation, obesity and related disorders.
