Main research areas
My main research areas have been epidemiological studies of lung diseases. Previously, we have investigated the association between blood eosinophil counts and exacerbations of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and asthma in individuals with COPD and asthma selected from the general population. Furthermore, we have investigated the association between the use of statins and all-cause mortality in individuals diagnosed with interstiital lung disease.

Currently, I am working with treatable traits in chronic lung diseases.
