Personal profile

Expertises

I am trained as a medical anthropologist and have done field research in Denmark and the United Kingdom, investigating the orientation towards recovery within psychiatry, voice hearing, self-help groups, peer-support, and the relation between institution and user movement. I am particularly concerned with the patient perspective. I use qualitative methods, such as participant observation and interviewing.
