Specialist in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry; Ph.D.-degree in Health and Medical Sciences. Clinical and research management skills. My research takes a trans-diagnostic approach to the study of the complex mechanisms underlying he development of the severe mental health disorders, and likewise also a trans-diagnostic approach to the formulation of new psychological and psychosocial treatments.
Main research areas
Clinical and epidemiological studies of the developmental trajectories to mental disorders, risk mechanisms and new targets for intervention; Randomized controlled trials (RCTs) of early and preventive interventions.
Current research
PI for the development and evaluation of Mind My Mind, i.e. an indicated prevention and treatment program targeting emotional and behavioral problems in school-aged children in the Danish municipalities; member of the Copenhagen Child Cohort 2000 (CCC2000) steering committee and head of the CCC2000 psychosis research group.
