Main research areas
My research has mainly been on the psychology of exercise, physical activity and sports participation. Especially volitional and motivational factors for participating in activities that involves movement. Further I have worked with validating psychometric questionnaires.
Current research
Postdoc on the reserach project ASPHALT.
ASPHALT is a research project and an intervention developed in collaboration between the non-profit organisation GAME and Health Promotion Research at Steno Diabetes Centre Copenhagen. The vision is to prevent obesity and diabetes, by promoting physical activity among children and youth aged 8-25, and thereby making them more physically active in their daily life and strengthening their social relations, well-being and empowerment.
