    Personal profile

    Research areas

My research primarily focus on interventions targeting overweight and obesity and the use of qualitative methods.

    Main research areas

My interest lies in the field of behavioural interventions targeting eating patterns and weight loss management. My research draws on qualitative approaches with the aim of getting in-depth insights into the perspectives and experiences of participants enrolled in interventions targeting overweight and obesity.

    Current research

Present research includes an investigation of the feasibility and maintenance of a time-restricted eating (TRE) intervention. Overweight and obese individuals at high risk of developing type 2 diabetes are instructed to consume an ad libitum diet with no concomitant restrictions within a self-selected time interval of 10h every day for 13 weeks. The overall aim of the study is to examine to whom and when, how and why TRE may be feasible and to identify strategies leading to successful maintenance.
