Main research areas

Psychiatric Diseases; Preclinical Imaging; Rodent Behavior; Neuronal Networks; Positron Emission Tomography; Magnetic Resonance Imaging

Current research

The current focus of my research is to understand the neuronal networks of psychiatric diseases, using a combination of bioengineer receptors, non-invasive in vivo imaging and behavioral tests. My previous work has focused on preclinical imaging using positron emission tomography, optical imaging, magnetic resonance imaging and computerized tomography. I have combined my preclinical imaging specialty with psychiatric diseases, blood-brain barrier changes, neurodegenerative diseases, cancer therapeutics, cell death, and arthritis.
