Research areas

My research focus on psychosocial aspects of diabetes and also includes occupational and mental health, quality of life methodology, cognitive aging, chronic conditions.

I am experienced in a wide range of qualitative and quantitative research methods: Systematic reviews, qualitative interviews, register studies, and questionnaire methodology (QOL, PRO).

Main research areas

In the project: 'Type 1 Job' I aim to develop and test interventions that help improve diabetes management of individuals with type 1 diabetes at work.

In the project: 'TAL' we aim to:

-explore how people with type 2 diabetes experience possibilities and barriers in relation to managing T2D at work and identify needs for managing diabetes related work life limitations

-which types of interventions/support can be developed and implemented in relevant settings, in order for people with T2D do not experience unnecessary limitations at work

The projects are carried out at SDCC, Diabetes Management Research
