Personal profile

Main research areas

My research focus is on the intersection between diabetes and dementia and how we can leverage large omics datasets to better characterize such phenotypes. I work on developing new bioinformatics approaches for multi-omics analyses and integration, between omics technologies and with clinical data and registries, to better understand the disease trajectories and differences.

Expertises

I have worked both in academia and industry, acting as a bioinformatics consultant for pharmaceutical and biotech companies in the healthcare business space. Thus, I have a broad technical experience in all omics technologies analysis across many environments.

I do have some managerial experience as a Project Manager, leading consulting teams across bioinformatics consulting projects for big pharma companies.
