Personal profile
Expertises
Board certified specialist in clinical physiology and nuclear medicine; extensive experience in clinical imaging research as well as pre- and postgraduate teaching
Main research areas
The common thread in my work as a researcher and clinician has been the evaluation and implementation of hybrid imaging technologies (PET/CT, PET/MR and SPECT/CT) primarily in patients with cancer; literally from lab to cost-effectiveness analysis.
Current research
My current research is centered on PET/CT and PET/MR within the broader aims of 1) developing and implementation diagnostic paradigms for Precision Medicine and 2) developing and evaluating methods for extracting and integrating imaging data in Big Data analysis.
