Expertises

Special interest in cardiac imaging, heart failure in diabetes, echocardiography, preventive cardiology, and cardiovascular epidemiology. He has won several international awards including the JACC: Cardiovascular Imaging Young Author Achievement Award 2015 and ESC European Young Investigator Award 2011, Population Science. As an active member of the Danish Society of Cardiology, he has served as co-chair of the working group of preventive cardiology, authored national guidelines in diabetes and heart disease and preventive cardiology, and established courses in advanced echocardiography. Dr. Jensen is a board member of the cardiovascular PhD-school at University of Copenhagen and reviewer for several international journals including Circulation, JACC, JASE, and grader for the ESC.
