Main research areas
Early intervention in the putative prodromal phase of psychosis. Cognitive deficits and cognitive remediation.
Current research
My research focuses on targeting the functional deficits of individuals at ultra-high risk for psychosis by use of a cognitive remediation approach. The results from our ongoing trial, the FOCUS trial, will provide evidence on the effectiveness of comprehensive cognitive remediation on cognition, functional outcome, clinical symptoms, and the long-term perspective in preventing transition to psychosis in ultra-high risk individuals.
