Main research areas

In The Danish Blood Donor Study (DBDS) my primary research focus on the link between inflammation and neuropsychiatric disorders such as depression. DBDS is a unique research platform which consists of more than 125,000 participants with access to unique questionnaire data, data from Danish health registers, DNA samples and a collection of continuous plasma samples. Several biomarkers have been measured and a genome-wide association study on all participants is ongoing.
