I graduated as a medical doctor from the University of Aarhus in 2011. After graduation my primary focus has been on gaining overall clinical experience in the fields of internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, general practice and psychiatry. For the past few years I have gained extensive experience in treatment of affective disorders and with ECT treatment which has lead me to my current research areas.
My main research areas are novel treatments of cognitive impairment in patients with depression
My key research interest is the neurobiological etiology of the cognitive dysfunction in patientens with depression. My overall passion is creating better treatment strategies for patients with depression.
