Ph.D., MSc. Sports and experience science, Physiotherapist
Lasse is a young aspiring researcher and physiotherapist with a great interest in sports medicine and sports science. He became member of the SORC-C research group as part of his bachelor thesis entitled "Large eccentric strength increase using the Copenhagen Adduction exercise in football: A randomized controlled trial." Subsequently, he studied for a MSc in sports science and health graduating with the thesis entitled "Effects of the Nordic Hamstring exercise on sprint capacity in male football players: a randomized controlled trial."
He is currently appointed as a PhD candidate in SORC-C focusing on improving the diagnostic process and treatment of patients with femoroacetabular impingement syndrome as well as evaluating return to sport following hip arthroscopy.
Beside his PhD work he is involved in projects evaluating hamstring muscle function in relation to sprint performance in football players.
