Research areas

I work with settings-oriented health promotion and prevention research in a lifecourse perspective to prevent the onset of NCD's and to promote healthy lifestyles and development. I have a special interest in social inequality in health and the social determinants of health, the so-called causes of causes for health inequalities.

Main research areas

Currently, my research focuses in particular on the benefits of natural environments to human health and nature as an upstream health promotion intervention.
