Expertises
I am a psychiatrist with 9 years of psychiatric experience in working with patients with a wide range of psychiatric disorders. I completed my specialty training in Psychiatry in 2012. I have worked in different settings of mental health care ranging from outpatient clinics to intensive-care closed psychiatric units.
Main research areas
I am interested in research on affective disorders, in particular in neuroimaging studies on pathophysiology of depression.
Current research
Currently I am a Ph.d. student at Centre for Neuropsychiatric Depression Research at Mental Health Center Glostrup. My Ph.d. title is: " Predicting effects and risk of relapse into depression - the Danish ECT/MRI project". The main aim of this project is to study potential changes in the brain structure and function caused by Electro convulsive therapy indicating both the mechanism of action and side-effects.
