I work as a PhD student at Steno Diabetes Center Copenhagen in the research department for Prevention, Health Promotion and Community Care.
My research focuses on younger adults (18-45 years) with type 2 diabetes, early development of diabetes related complications, associated sociodemographic characteristics and resources and needs for support in order to develop tailored interventions to improve the quality of life and well-being among younger adults with type 2 diabetes.
Research data is collected using mixed methods, combined with participatory approaches.
