Expertises

Practical experience within planning, coordination and execution of clinical research projects (RCTs) and data analysis. This includes study registrations and approvals (Data Protection Agency, Research Ethic Committee, Danish Patient Safety Authority). Furthermore, experience with systematic literature studies, and certification within project management (PRINCE2 Foundation and a course in project management) and God Clinical Practice (Course at Copenhagen University).

Main research areas

Clinical nutrition with special interest in older adults.

Current research

Ph.D. project: A protein-enriched, milk-based supplement to counteract sarcopenia in acutely ill geriatric patients offered resistance exercise training during and after hospitalization – a double-blinded, randomized controlled trial.

Multi-center study performed at the Medical Departments of Herlev and Gentofte Hospital and Rigshospitalet-Glostrup.

Public trials registry: The study has been approved by the Danish Regional Ethical Committee, identifier: H-16018240, and the Danish Data Protection Agency (HGH-2016-050), and it is registered in ClinicalTrials.gov (identifier: NCT02717819).
