Clinical expertise through 10 years with psychotherapy in the dual diagnosis and psychosis-spectrum field, interspersed with clinical projects concerned with group-based mindfulness courses for psychiatric patients, lifestyle interventions and journalistic projects such as podcasts about mental illness and the user perspective.

Main research areas

The intersection between psychosis-spectrum disorders and cannabis and other drug use as examined through a social constructivist lens: How is the ability to regulate cannabis/drug consumption influenced by the social fabric of everyday life among people experiencing psychosis? And more generally: How are feedback-loops between psychiatric interventions and everyday life best understood?

Dual diagnosis; psychosis; cannabis; addiction; substance use; epistemology.

Current research

The Cannabis Project: Risks, rewards and the experience of intoxication among younger cannabis users with experiences of psychosis: A smart phone-enriched, mixed method study of epistemic navigation in everyday life.
