Current research

Ongoing as PhD:

- Clinical outcome after repair of the pronator quadratus muscle in volar locked plating of the distal radius. A randomised clinical trial.

- Repair or non-repair of the Pronator Quadratus muscle; an ultra sound evaluation. 
- Do Danish and Australian orthopaedic surgeons currently repair the pronator quadratus muscle after volar locked plating, and can the results of a randomised clinical trial change their treatment? 


Ongoing as co-author/supervisor:

- Evaluation of national clinical guidelines on treatment of distal radius fractures. A register study.


- Comparison of complications in conservative treatment vs. surgical treatment of distal radius fractures. Data from the Danish National Patient Register.

- Epidemiology of patients with distal radius fractures. Data from the Danish National Patient Register.

- Is mono-therapy with β-lactam antibiotics non-inferior to combination-therapy with β-lactam antibiotics and rifampicin in prosthetic joint infections?

- Fibula-rod as a salvage procedure in bi-malleolus fracture. Isolated osteosynthesis of lateral malleolus.
