Expertises
life-course epidemiology; childhood body size and growth and short and long-term health consequences; maternal and infant nutrition; obesity and overweight
Main research areas
My work focuses on identifying how childhood body size and growth relate to disease. I primarily investigate the long-term consequences on outcomes including diabetes, cancer and cardiovascular disease. Additionally I work with clinicians who treat childhood obesity to identify how this improves the health of these children.

Effects of childhood obesity treatment on health
Effects of maternal body size and infant nutrition on child health
