    Main research areas

My research interests are in acute and critical care nursing. The main focus is patient outcome and rehabilitation after intensive care. My interests are Quality of Life and mental health (symptom burden of anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress and self-perceived symptoms), but also the influence of critical illness as seen from the patient's own perspective. Other interests include interventions to improve outcomes and practices.

    Current research

Merging quantitative and qualitative data from a pragmatic randomized controlled trial, the recovery and aftercare in post intensive care therapy patient, The RAPIT-study. Working on ideas to identify new patient-reported outcome measures, and a novel intervention in parallel to completing some of the data collected in the RAPIT-study.
