Identification of biomarkers for type 1 diabetes prediction, diagnosis, progression and treatment response. INNODIA partner (IMI2 project) focusing on translational aspects of beta-cell and immunology research in type 1 diabetes. Lipidomics and metabolomics profiling in pre-diabetic individuals. Is there a role for epigenetics in type 1 diabetes development. Identification of novel non-coding RNAs in type 1 diabetes and inflammatory bowel disease. EU/InterReg project DiaUnion is an innitiative the Oresund region to increase knowledge on biomarkers suitable for type 1 diabetes screening.
