Main research areas

Multiple sclerosis immunology, biomarkers, development of phase 2 clinical trial protocols, immunogenetics, cerebrospinal fluid studies and intrathecal immune activation in multiple sclerosis and other neurological diseases

Current research

Current research is focused on understanding the relationship between systemic immune activation, genetic and environmental risk factors, and pathogenic immune reactions in the central nervous system in multiple sclerosis and neurodegenerative diseases. In addition, we develop phase I/II protocols for evaluation of novel therapies for multiple sclerosis.
