    • Coronary microvascular dysfunction.  Initiator of the Danish multicenter study Improve Diagnosis and treatment of women with angina and microvessel disease (iPOWER), which has included almost 2000 women making it the largest of its kind worldwide to systematically assess microvascular dysfunction. Several randomized controlled trials have been initiated with the aim of improving treatment of microvascular angina;
    • Stable ischemic heart disease;
    • Epidemiological studies of precursors of cardiovascular disease, and gender differences in the impact of risk factors;
    • Improving cardiac rehabilitation
