Experience during 10+ years with establishing and implementation of new methods in Clinical Microbiology; molecular diagnostics (PCR), MALDI-TOF, direct identification of positive blood cultures with PNA FISH, and lastly automatication in bacteriology (InoqulA and WCA).

Antimicrobial susceptibility testing (AST) and resistance mechanisms. Participant in numerous national (and Nordic) working groups especially on standardization and quality assurance, e.g. DANRES (National WG for antibiotic resistance monitoring), DANRES-M (National WG on Antimicrobial Susceptibility Testing) and NordicAST (Nordic Committee on Antimicrobial Susceptibility Testing).
