The impact of the tumor microenvironment on cancer immunotherapy
Transgenic mice, 3D cell culture assays, and clinical samples are used to investigate how specific components of the tumor microenvironment affect the efficiency of cancer immunotherapy. These components include the extracellular matrix, tumor-associated macrophages and stromal fibroblasts.
