Biomarkers in the fields of diabetes, dementia, cognition and their interface via metabolism in the liver and gut. Designing tests to use in the clinic for personalised medicine and healthy aging.

  • diabetes treatment (the CIMT study)
  • diabetes complications (the PROFIL and PROTON studies)
  • diabetes personalized medicine (the RHAPSODY and POPS projects).
  • liver and gut interactions in disease (MicrobLiver, GALAXY & TARGET)
  • early Alzheimer's disease biomarkers (EMIF-AD, CANN clinical trial, ARUK fellowship, DPUK consortium, NIA NIH projects)
