Current research

Conducting a nationwide clinical randomized trial with patients with chronic hepatitis C treated with Direct Acting Antivirals (DAAs). Primary endpoint is to evaluate any differences in adverse events between the two treatment arms.

Clinical trial that evaluates the presence of ischemic  heart disease in patients with chronic hepatitis C, genotype 1 and 3, treated with DAAs.

Register study that evaluates the use of DAAs in Denmark and differences between the patients who fulfilled treatment criteria and initiated DAA treatment and patients whom fulfilled treatment criteria but did not initiate treatment.

Clinical study that investigates all patients with DAA treatment failure for development of viral resistance.
