Expertises

Extensive experience of translational and multidisciplinary research in cerebrovascular disease, neurorehabilitation and headache mechanisms. This includes research from bench to bedside with implementation of findings in the clinic.

The research focus is on pathophysiology, neurorecovery and neurorehabilitation in cerebrovascular disease, brain and spinal cord injury in a multidisciplinary setting.

Techniques in the research group includes but not limited to vascular pharmacology, protein chemistry, cell signalling, vascular reactivity in vitro and in vivo, stroke models, cerebral imaging modalities, application of AI, and clinical stroke, traumatic brain injury and neurorehabilitation.
