Main research areas
The department of anaesthesiology is focusing on clinical research and are sponsoring clinical trials within paediatric anaesthesia and paediatric pain management to establish proof-of-concept for interventions. The department collaborates with scientists and paediatric anaesthesiologists both nationally and internationally.
Current research
Current research focus on safe and effective medications for children, including a large multicenter trial within paediatric anaesthesia, development and commercialisation of a novel analgesic nasal spray for children and in collaboration with the university of Copenhagen a national survey of pain in children conducted at a large number of schools.
