Molecular characterization of Danish Prion diseases cohort and investigation of CNS microenvironment changes induced by prions.
Brief presentation
Pathology of central nervous system (CNS) has always been the main subject of my research. I am particularly interested in CNS microenvironment changes and pathogenesis of neurodegenerative and infectious brain diseases. Therefore I am using a number of technologies and techniques, including protein and nucleic acid microarrays, that allow me to research molecular biology and immunology of affected human CNS tissues.
