"Main research areas
The influence of strength training on physical function, and muscle mass and -power in elderly.
Current research
The primary aim of my current research is to compare the efficacy of two different 1-year strength training regimens on immediate and long-lasting improvements in leg muscle power, muscle strength, muscle mass as well as functional ability and daily level of physical activity in 450 men and women aged 62-70 years.
